Default Yella Terra damage

I bought a set of Yella Terra roller rockers from the used parts market place on here and the parts showed up with damage to one of the cups that the pushrod rides in. Is this repairable or could it be run the way it is? I don't feel comfortable running it the way it is so I stayed with my stockers for now with the trunnion upgrade. Pic below. Let me know what you think.
Thanks

Both look damaged to me. Don't know if anyone can repair that, you'd have to add metal then reshape it, likely more expensive than just getting replacements.

Looks pretty destroyed to me. Don't think I'd run it.

First thing I'd do, before even worrying about that, is FIGURE OUT WHY it did that in the first place. On account of, if I didn't, the next thing I put there, whether stock YT or whatever, I'd be afraid the EXACT SAME THING would happen AGAIN.

That said, what caused it?

In the post he said he bought them here used, and that's how they showed up.

Those would need to go back to YT for rebuild or replacement. What version are they? Post up a pic of the top of the rockers please.

Those look like they've had a hard life. I'd just move on to another set of rockers

So far from 2 pics I see worn/damaged ball cups for the push rods, dents scratches and general damage, pitted roller tips... It doesn't look like there's much there worth saving unless the others are in far better condition.

The others are better, but not by much. Chalk this one up to a lesson learned. I need to ask for more pics when buying used parts. Out of all of the parts bought on this site this is the only purchase that didn't pan out.

YT has an amazing customer service dept, and even though your not the original owner of them, they would likely still get you into a new set for a huge discount if they can’t rebuild the set you have. Worth a phone call.

Make sure and leave a negative rating for the seller and even make a post about it to help others keep from getting screwed. Sorry to hear that happened.

Che70velle definitely knows his **** and if he says yella terra is likely to help if you call, I'd call, hope they help ya out and you can salvage this situation.

You have nothing to lose at this point so calling YT is worth a shot. Man I hate hearing **** like this... No decent person in this world would sell another person parts known to be F'd up.

Thanks again.
Contacting seller will either start an argument or he will agree and offer a refund. He fully knows that he sold you a torn up set of rockers, and unless he disclosed the poor condition in the ad or via text/phone with you, hes in the wrong. Either way it goes, either he makes it right, or completely argues with you, let the forum know via feedback.

Those of us who post and chat regularly would never screw another forum member. The seller simply needs to refund your money.

I have the same set, the later FAT ones. 20k miles, still look like new.

Its a bit hard to imagine how those got so toasted.....ok, with some of the ham fists that thrash on LS stuff, I guess it isnt!

I find it funny he decided to make this post and leave me negative feedback before he even got in contact with me. I got the message last night when I was sleeping and replied as soon as I woke up. Ive never dealt with these before and they came off a running engine I bought that I seen running. I thought $325 shipped was a good deal. They are listed for $770 new. This is the first ive heard of anything since you bought them two months ago. Ive bought and sold plenty of stuff on here and never had a problem. This puts a bad taste in my mouth as well being he couldn't even let me make things right.
