I’ve put more SacCity billet barbells in than I care to count with zero problems. Excellent product and even better customer service.

Lots of offshore knock offs on those billet oil diverters on eBay. You’d think the Sac City people would have a copy infringement suit going.

I agree, but it might be hard to pursue with many of them coming from China. You'll be chasing the wind....

The customs people don’t have to let them in. eBay doesn’t have to let people sell them, there’s protection available. You can’t sell copycat watches on eBay, just sayin.

Buy SacCity billet barbells and nothing else. Do not skimp on an already inexpensive devise that directs oil flow in your engine and buy a cheap knock-off.

You make good points! But I'm not sure customs will be suspicious of some aluminum machined parts UNLESS given a heads up. And maybe that IS happening.

Improved racing has a double o-ring barbell. Any thoughts on that one?

I read somewhere, on a Corvette site somewhere I think, that the o-ring could very likely get cut on the sharp edges inside the galleys the barbell needs to pass through to get seated. It kind of makes sense, if the o-ring is big enough to fit snugly, it is going to catch on any sharp edge inside. A tight machined fit seems like a better idea.

It was tricky to get it just right, but we designed it with just enough squeeze to create a seal with no gap without cutting or damaging the O-ring during installation. If it's coated with oil before installation and inserted carefully, it's not a problem. It creates a much better seal than no O-ring, even though it's not designed with as much squeeze as a typical static radial O-ring seal, like the rear O-ring on the barbell. The pressure drop across the tip of that barbell is not very significant, so the O-ring doesn't need to be very tight.
