Default LS1 newbies looking at casting# 12562374

Hi,
I'm converting from the German engine world and really enjoying it!
I'm considering buying an LS1 with a block casting number of 12562374. I looked all over and can't find the details for this block. Is there a master chart somewhere with all the LS numbers? This engine lost oil pressure and was immediately (i'm told) shut down. I will of course tear it down if I buy it so I would like to know what the specs are.
Thanks,
MosFetMan

I have found 12562174 as an LS1 bock casting number. That is the closest to your number I have found.
Either way, LS1 blocks can't be bored more than .005 over the original 3.898.bore. So check the bores for any wear.

My fav LS1 block is 9378 also like the 1168 block LS6 which made its way into quite of few 02 fbodys due GM shortage of LS1 blocks at the time . these two will go 10 over .I don't even try to bore 98 and earlier they are throw aways .
