I scooped those last year when not many lifters were available, they were $129 no idea why they say $929 now on ebay. I don't have any trouble with them and they are quiet. They've seen 8000RPM and havent given up smoke, that's more than I can say about numerous other brands.

If nothing else they seem slightly nicer than the assortment of $100 lifters on amazon and ebay, which I have also used.

they have a 5 star 18 reviews on their website but that could have been hyped up... just want to see “real” reviews from actual community... thanks for the review bro... I’m contemplating on these setup or morel

The part number 17122490 on the ZZ box is a GM part number and also references to ACDelco part number HL124. These are not the LS7 performance lifters and have the lesser quality hylift castings. That said you can't really go by that number on the ZZ box so it's really hard to tell what lifter you're actually receiving.

My guess is they are the "bulk" Delphi lifters by the way they are packaged. The LS7 performance lifters (12499225) are $250+ per set. I've run the Delphi bulk lifters with no issues but were a little noisy (sewing machine) on my setup. Switched to the Morel 6504 drop in lifters and they are much quieter and see the 7000 RPM rev limiter on occasion.

That's a good price. Bought mine last summer from the Ws6store with LS2 lifter trays for $229 no tax free shipping. Be sure to get the GM lifter trays (12595365) as those bulk china trays have been known to let lifters rotate in the bore wiping out the cam... and more.

Morels soaking before install, new GM LS2 trays.

I've read that when prices are jacked up to $900 on ebay that that indicates the product is out of stock.

The description states they aren't LS7 lifters, so I would hope they would not be. I should have measured the travel of the ZZP vs a stock lifter to see if they backed up the claimed shorter travel, ah well have to wait until one gives up smoke.

Bulk chyna/amazon trays have seen 8000 RPM and 8 sec 1/4 miles without any problem, but same can be said of 200k+ mile OEM trays.

Overall I think people put way too much effort into all this stuff, just send it! It's been proven even the $500+ lifters fail (some cases even higher failure rate) so I don't see a point in worrying about it.
