You have to get a crossmember for the duals. They're like $180 from umi.
Thank you, I will look into UMI crossmember, I really enjoy their products.

Speed e headers 17/8 are $320.

speed 3 true duals are $500

Under a G for both and a cross member to clear them.

Do you have a link to the UMI crossmember, I was on there site and didn't see one listed for true duals or one that says that specific. I appreciate the help.

I called back Mike, he said he hadn't called ARH to order the headers and ORY pipe yet. I asked him to hold off for now, I wanted to contact speed engineering and chat with them about their exhaust system. I just want to make sure it doesn't sit to low and I drag, my car sits low and I like the look of it, I really like the idea of the 15hp through true duals like you stated. Makes me wonder on that 974hp Camaro I had if I would have ran true duals was there a chance at hitting 1,000hp mark that would really chap my *** if I left something like that on the table over just not knowing or understanding enough at the time...

I have an email in to Speed Engineering, hopefully they will return it or call in the morning. Thank you for the info and appreciate the help.

I spoke to Corvette Connection who does a lot of our F body work and tuning in Colorado (only 3 shops out here), They said the speed engineering headers isn't the tightest fit, and the ARH's fit better in their opinion. I like the pricing of Speed E. headers better, but definitely like the idea of good fitment, as the car sits low already. Might look into ARH headers and the Speed Engineering true duals as the combo to go with. Will know more after talking with them tomorrow.

My TSP headers tuck up fairly tight. The SE dual exhaust sits pretty low, at least on the one that I saw.

Never had a problem with speed e fitment and I've installed probably 35 + sets. I have a set on mu c6 right now . Zero issues for the last year.

Talked with Speed E (Jesse), he was very honest and we talked about headers and my concern on dragging and what he thought of true duals over y pipe. I think down the road I might go with duals if I am searching for every ounce of Power I can make, but since its a NA build and I already have Borla catback. I am going to stick with the original plan and do the ARH 1 7/8's with their ORY pipe and go from there. I can always sell them if I am not happy with them down the road.

Finalized my Order yesterday with Mike @ WS6 Store, I really enjoy their customer service. Very easy to work with and the communication is very good, Wanted to support our LS1tech sponsors.

Sounds like Headers are 3-4 weeks out from being made, which I am in no rush for, but appreciate Mike looking into it and communicating, after all the push rod conversations the past few weeks, thought it would it would be a good idea to get a push rod length checker.

Talking with Martin Smallwood, with the .040 thousandths head gaskets and 243 heads milled to 62-63cc's should land me in the 11.1-11.3 compression ratio.

I talked with Danny M. Owner of Bowtie engine shop on what he recommended on oil pump, timing chains, and head bolts or studs, he is easily one of the premier engine builders in this area and I trust his opinion, I have known him over 20 years, his son Eric won Las Vegas Outlaw 235 a few years back, glad to have local knowledge like that around.

1 x LS Series Melling Oil Pump (High Pressure) (10295)
1 x 98-02 LS1 RPM Speed Single Heavy Duty Timing Set (RPM-HDTS)
2 x 98-02 LS1 RPM Speed Cylinder Head Bolt Kit (One Head) (12498545-X)
2 x 98-02 LS1 Cometic MLS 3.910" Head Gasket (.040") (C5475-040)
1 x 98-02 LS1 Camshaft Installation Kit (GMCAMKIT)
1 x 1998-2002 American Racing Header 1-7/8" x 3 (LS1R-98178300HR)
1 x 1998-2002 American Racing 3" x 2-3/4" Y-Pipe No Cats (LS1R-98300234YPNC)
1 x COMP Cams Hi-Tech Pushrod Length Checking Tool (7702-1)

Will keep everyone updated as things start progressing. Hopefully the 243 Heads land at TEA today.
