As the OP said we don't include any shims with the SUM-G6980 rockers. Shimming shouldn’t be required. However, with any stud or shaft mount roller rocker it's a good idea to check the wipe pattern. If the pattern needs to be narrowed then you can shim it up. When trying to improve pushrod geometry we typically see folks going in .050" increments on the pushrods.

Checked the wipe pattern last night and it looks really good.

I'll update how they do at 7k rpm with 450ish lbs of open pressure.
