408 truck build ??
So, I'm having some issues with my first build. I'm burning qt of oil every two fill ups and recently having troubles starting. I only have 17k miles on it so I'm going to tear it down and start over.
Looking for expert advice because the last 8 months I went crazy buying stuff for the top end. I'm looking for advice on compatibility and things I'm missing in my build.
What is currently installed on the truck. Forged eagle crank, forged eagle rods, icon pistons, rest is pretty much stock.
Stuff I bought
317 Stage 2.5 PRC heads with dual springs milled .20, btr stage 2 truck cam 212-218/11+0, Btr chromoly push rods 7.4" 5/16 Dia .80wall, 1.7 rocker arms/ trunnion upgrade kit, tbss intake set up with 50lbs injectors and 92mm tb and xlink, performance hd timing chain, American racing headers 1 3/4 long tube headers jet hot coated, high flow oil pump.
