Summit also sells roller tip rockers. That's what I went with when I put TFS As Cast heads on my LS1. The TFS heads come with a little stiffer spring so you can use roller rockers. 430 open IIRC.

All the money I spent on this thing, why I didn't just buy the YT I don't know. Probably because they were twice, almost 3 times the cost of the Summit's.

I tried to get a hold of PAC, who TFS sources their springs from, to ask if I had enough spring for what I was doing. Well those bastards apparently don't return phone calls, messages or emails. I had to get the car back together so I used the springs that were on the heads.
Seeing I am Tech for PAC, I find this hard to believe. Yes it may be a couple days but if you left a VM, emailed and FB messages, without any of these being responded to, I am calling BS.

Wow, really man? I don't care if you find it hard to believe or not but it's true.
The first time I called was late on a Friday and I didn't expect anyone to answer and left a VM.
The following week I sent in a contact form off the website.
I did not send a message on FB.
I did not know there was a PAC rep on here.

I had a specific questions about install height and how close I should run it to coil bind, if the springs that came on the TFS heads were stout enough to run with roller rockers and 13lbs of boost or if I needed to upgrade the springs.

I would have called on Friday, Feb. 25, 2022. I just looked at old text messages where I asked a buddy of mine who has a shop and he said to check with the spring manufacturer. The following Friday I have pictures of the heads off.

Things happen, people get busy and things fall through the cracks, I get it.

But don't call BS on me.

I have a lot better things to do than get on the internet and lie about a company.

You are right, I shouldn't have called BS, I do apologize.

If nothing else, hopefully this brought to light who TurboBuick6 is and how easy it is to get in touch with him here on Tech.
