Default 800rwhp D1SC build - Help

Hi, what is the cheapest way to have the ls1 built (w/o resleeving the block, its a 2000) to make about 800rwhp as a DD? I plan on having a D1sc procharger in this. Any other wisdom for this? Cost? Just trying to get my stuff straight before this all starts. Looking to spend 20ish on this. Thank you!

Turbo is probably least expensive way to 800whp with forced induction not a ProCharger.

Procharger-build-write-up is a nice over view of what's involved.

Real-cost-procharger-build should help with rough idea of costs involved. Of course coat increased since the thread was started.

Sell the LS1 and use funds toward project. The early LS1 blocks are just about the weakest of the whole LS family. I don't think any quality shops resleeve LS1/LS6 blocks anymore based on when I inquired a few years ago.

Hopefully that will help with general information. The search feature and the Forced Induction section are very helpful.

So I have personal experience with this. My forged 347 ls6 makes 833rw with a d1sc and e85 through a 6 speed. I have Tfs 215 heads, 231/235 blower cam, 1 7/8” kooks and a fast 102/102. Pretty simple. Makes 16-17 lbs with a 7.25 crank and 3.4 blower pulley. Still using the sdce bracket I bought 10 years ago too. Not planning on pushing her any farther but it’s totally doable.
