Not too shabby of a mph I think especially considering the lack of tuning, full exhaust and I was running bias ply slicks at low air pressure. Drag radials might pick me up 1 mph or so, a cutout {I just welded one in } might give me anouther mph and tuning should definitely give me a mph or two.

Not a bad cam at all, buy one of those used ones and save some money.
You didn't mention gears, but gears (4.10 or higher), a grabbier clutch and maybe some suspension work and you'll be well into the 11s... and tuning, of course.

Its a crap cam the both the 230/236 and the 232/238 are MUCH better

It didn't really go wrong, I did! I'm not the best gear changer in world by no means! If you look at the mph, you can see alot of untapped potential. I need a clutch bad, it slipped pretty badly on that run and only got worse on the next run. I gave up in order to save the clutch and rear end. I wasn't too keen on the WOT runs with the tuning I had either.

I don't plan on doing alot of 1/4 runs anymore so the wimpy stock clutch and 10 bolt will do me fine out on a road course. I will try another run or two coming up {next weekend I'm finally getting the car dyno tuned}. I will post up any improvements.

As I said, I'm pretty happy with the cam considering the way the car is set-up. It ain't a quarter miler by no means.

What mods do you have if you're putting down 412hp with stock heads?

Offense taken...
It's not like as of recently the cam has changed one bit.. Just read some of these posts...
The last 5 m6 cars we've done have posted over 400rwhp cam only. That’s without dyno tricks.
Additionally, the 231.237 offers great piston to valve clearance compared to a lot of the new camshaft out there that require stock heads & your head tilted just right to get the thing to clear. The 231.237 camshaft clears with ported big valve heads cut even up to 15 thou!! The 231.237 lobes also promote better valvetrain life for people wanting everyday big power.
Just last week I had a 4000 stall a4 car pickup 46rwhp unlocked & a m6 car pickup 53rwhp by just installing the 231.237 package... I don't think that’s Pathetic results by any means.....

Besides if someone wants more camshaft we now offer the Magic Stick Revision 3 that clears stock pistons!!

My 231 runs just fine even with my own predator tuning and idle adjustments. I am waiting on a custom predator tune. This cam really moves after 3000rpm. I plan on getting a ls6 intake to satisfy the cams hunger for air.

Not too bad, only things you have that I don't is the TB and MAF. I even have a free-er flowing exhaust, so that may make up for some. You do also have a cut-out and I don't. But I'd be happy as hell if I put up those kind of numbers. I'm hoping to get 380+rwhp after I put it in.

And another thing I have to add... I've shown my car at two car shows since my cam install last weekend, and each time I've started my car or made my entrance to the show, I've gotten LOTS of attention. People flock to my car to see what the hell would make a modern car like mine rumble like an old school muscle car. It sounds mean as hell and is by far the best attention grabbing mod I've made...

I'm confident I'll prove this cam's bite is just as good as its bark at the track next weekend...

It's a Lunati grind, and from what I've been told the grind is fairly mild... somewhere between an XE and an XE-R to compare.

I have noticed a lot of staring when I'm out in public as of late and I've gotten lot of compliments.

I love mine, have not got it to the dyno yet, but with pp stage 2 heads, tsp mail order tune and full cats I passed Pa emissions. Got it to the track once on a hot and humid day, with dr's it went 11.9 @117 1.79 sixty. Great cam, get it you will like it.

Well I got the cam yesterday, can't wait to put it in. Now my only dilema..........Heads or no????? I'd go with the Patriot stage 2 heads. If I didn't go with heads I'd get the patriot gold springs anyways........Desicion time.

If you can afford the heads, I say go for it... I'd like some Patriot Stage 2 5.3L heads (want 5.3L for added compression to help the low-midrange power with this cam), but I can't afford them.

I like mine, you just have to use the upper rpm's to get this cam to perform at the track.
