Then I can't see it because my background is black.

Last week I clicked on the button in the top right of the forum (under the user profile info iirc) that said something about trying dark mode. It worked fine until this afternoon. I looked but can't find out to turn it off. This was all on the regular website, not mobile.

Then change your background to what the rest of the world has, or to what you had when you started this thread.

And, whatever mode you are using, I can't read your last few posts.
Because the OP had to get the internets blessing first before he really believed the guy who does it for a living.

The internet has made us smarter(in some regards)and dumber in others. No one thinks for themselves anymore. The "internet" knows everything.

The few times I tried dark mode, to me, everything was harder to read. Also, your cam is milder than most here are running. I'm not sure why'd you'd be overly concerned about dynamic compression.

I used this calculator which says IVC @ .050 The static and dynamic compression ratio calculator (gofastmath.com)
This calculator is wrong.

What did the DCR end up being?

IF, as you say it is a "Custom Cam" then ASK the custom cam grinder himself for the Intake Closure (.006") timing event.

Since starting this thread I have learned how inaccurate .050 is (thanks to this forum) so I'm not worried about it anymore

Yup, I've always said - @ .050 is good for comparing cams in a rough way, but will never show the true behavior of a cam. @ .006 is the way to go.

I had the same concerns when I input my @.050 info into the calculator. I called Cam Motion and was told to add 27.5 to the .050 IVC. I was much happier then !!!
