Default Gen 4 internals into gen 3

I have a lm7 I am building for a swap and planning on boosting.

I may have just acquired a lc9 with a cracked block due to freezing. Otherwise runs great

I was wondering if it would be worth it to slap the pistons and rods out of the gen 4 into the gen 3. Will put new bearings and rings and hone the block.

also maybe swap the 706s for the 799s

Thoughts?

The Gen IV pistons are flat tops, so yeah, use the 799's to keep compression sane.

If they're in good shape, I don't see why not.
Don't forget to switch the reluctor wheels to the 24x from the old crank.

I was planning on putting those pistons on the other crank but if swapping the reluctor isn't too bad then ill do that

Actually the cranks should be the same though I'm not positive about that.

I'm just gonna do rings and bearings on the 3 crank with the 4 rods and pistons and throw some boost at it and party

The Gen 4 stuff is heavier. Use the Gen 4 crank and swap the reluctor if you have too since its already balanced for the added weight.
