I wouldn't trust those even in a junkyard build. You get what you pay for, as they say. With the damage that could occur with a failure, I wouldn't want to take that risk.

I would trust my gf saying, "He's just a friend" more than I would any Ebay parts.

Ha! I hear ya fellas...

Same was said of China turbos/intakes/pistons etc and the lot 10 years ago though, look where we are today!

Was just curious if anyone had tried them with any luck.

Was thinking/hoping the China casting processes for alum are pretty decent these days. I’m sure GM doesn’t source the rocker castings locally either.

Default Ebay rocker with upgraded trunion

I have a set on my junkyard build. They seem to be a bit noisy - sewing machine sound.

Based on part numbers and packaging, these appear to be "jobber" or bulk items. Many sellers have them at different price points.

Maybe if you epoxied screens over your oil drainback areas to catch any needle bearings, they'd be safer to run, lol.

Don't believe they have needle bearings. It has what looks to be caged ball bearings? It states "trunnion kit" but doesn't really say what kind. Believe most trunnion kits are a journal style bearing, no?

Most trunnion kits use bronze bushings, but many use needle bearings. I haven't seen any with ball bearings.

I had a set that looked exactly like this that were sold to me as BTR by a dude on FB marketplace. I sent Brian Tooley photos and he said..not ours...china knock off. I got ahold of the guy I got them from and he said they came from amazon so basically confirmed chinese knock off. He actually had a set and said he was running on his truck. Said they were very noisy as mentioned in here already. I did not want to take the chance so I sold them off again while being 100% upfront for $80. Someone bought off me for their budget build in just a few days. I personally would not run them.
