Default GM asa cam with pac 1219's

Have have a take out asa cam from that ls3 525hp crate.. Using on ls1 or my ls2 shortblock along with 243s assembled with pac 1219 springs. Are the 1219 springs too much for asa cam? I nornally shift my car higher than most. I'm only concern about possible ricochet effect.
thanks

If it were me, I would drop off that asa cam at the local recycling center. Then, get a Summit cam to use instead.

The 1219 spings are fine.
You could also save a few bucks and get a set of LS6 springs which work just fine with that cam.
They are rated to a .550 lift and would actually give you a couple more hp as the springs won't be as stiff.

I have never seen back to back testing of spring pressure. I’m not convinced that you would see any difference in hp just by using softer springs. It would be an interesting test though.
