LS1 - Pre Install (drift engine) Hey guys,
My LS1 finally went, and I'm grabbing another used alum 5.7 with 241 heads to replace it with.
What should I do prior to install to keep the engine happy? It's strictly used for drifting with very low street miles in between events.
I was thinking lifters, trays, head gaskets (obviously) and oil pump. Anything else?
What type of lifters, oil pump will keep this thing going / happy for a while?
