Difference between Fbody and Corvette LS1
I'm about to throw a corvette LS1 into my trans am. What the hell are the differences? I have already found out the crank pullys are different, and I have fixed that. Anything else I will run into? What are all the differences as far as installation is concerned?

More than two hours? That time of the month? What the **** would you do if you were installing it and finding differences that hadn't been mentioned to you before? I am in Dallas on leave to fix this ****, and if it doesn't get fixed, it sits here longer. It's very frusterating and I especially don't need that last kid just looking for an excuse to use that picture, which was old news 5 years ago. Let's get something original if we are going to be an *******, OK?
Did you read my post?
Time restrictions.... if I wait patiently.... I get no engine when my leave ends.
Now, by bumping it up there I received the response I needed. Close this thread because we both know I will argue with God if he posts in this thread because of how frusterated I am right now w/ this engine.

DUDE, you have some major issues, and they are NOT with your car. How are YOUR time restrictions our problem??????
Why don't you do a little more research before you start your project?
Go **** yourself, and your engine install too!!

Most of the major differences are; none of the front accessories are going to line up, you will need an A/C compressor, alt bracket, ps bracket, etc. and balancer pulley from an fbody. The motor mounts are different, as is the oil pan (corvette has windage trays, fbody is more like a traditional pan), throttle body on the vette is fly-by-wire, fbody is cable operated. Also, the exhaust manifolds are going to be different. Other than that the other changes are not worth worrying about; slightly different cam specs and +/- injector size depending on year.

. TTT for you though.
