Ok it's an expensive convertor but I would go with a nitrous vert like a Yank PYE 3600. It is built specifcally for nitrous. New they are almost a grand but you can pick one up used for about $600. You might want to check out the autotrans section to ask about a cheaper alternative to that convertor. It a very livable on the street with the 3.73's and it really really shines on the spray...With that convertor heads and cam you will be good for mid to high 11's on motor at about 118. Then you can spray your way to hi 10's. This is with proper suspension setup of course..and the best part is it will be a complete sleeper...Sounds like a killer setup. Ask in the trans section about cheaper alternatives to the PYE 3600, those guys over there are extremely helpful...just make sure that they know that you want to spray on occasion.

With the LS6 cam I would pick the 5.3's over the LS6 styles for sure. There is a guy here locally that runs a LS6 cam and a set of patriot 5.7's and he ran a 7.6x 1/8th @ 91mph Thursday night on his first trip to the track with that setup. He goes by "ls1only" on here
marksZ71 insteasd i need to change though anyway i love my setup it really starts pulling at the end of the eighth

Yeah but I think he has decided to go with the MTI stealth cam instead.
