Yella Terra Rocker Arms - anyone have experience with these?
I am looking for a sturdy upgrade over the stockers just for piece of mind.. and these seem to be a little more reasonable over the Jesels and the Cranes.. So I ask - can anyone vouch for the quality of these?
Thanks,

Are you looking for non-adjustables?? What ratio?? I have a set of the non-adjustable Jesels for sale (unused, 1.7:1 ratio) that is buried within the "parts for sale" forum. Dunno the going rate on the Yella Terra pieces, but these Jesels are a steal at $600 to your door.
In any event, the little bit about the Yella Terra pieces seems to be pretty positive.

The Yella Terra's require no valve cover mods, are not adjustable, and cost me $550 from Australia. You can get them from some sponsers state side - look in the Group Purchase section. The install was simple. SLP did a test of the Jessel's, Yella Terra's, stock and there rockers and the dyno showed the aluminum ones (Jessel and Yella Terra) loosing some HP at the end of the RPM range due to rocker arm flexing. It wasn't that significant. I prefer the value of less friction, reduce temps, and reduced valve guide wear.
What I have noticed on my setup is it now has become harder for my engine to hit the rev limiter. I am not sure if this was because of being on the dyno or my tuning changes. I will have a better idea once I hit the track.

Thanks for posting the dyno! It appears that I was wrong. I thought they tested the 1.7 Yella Terras. As I posted earlier though, the difference (IMHO) is marginal.
Anyone have a comparrison with the 1.7 Yella Terras?

I don't know. Yella Terra says their rockers flex less than stock, but this graph shows otherwise. Which is right...or am I missing something?

Maybe it's me but I don't see how that graph shows that any one rocker is better than the other. They range from 1.7 to 1.9 ratio's. If they were all at 1.7 then you could see which one is better. Just my .02 is all.

Re: Yella Terra Rocker Arms - anyone have experience with these?
This comparison by SLP smells like the one where their headers made 41 hp. If the YT were so bad, why are the 1.8s they are selling for the V6 the same rocker? Any one from SLP care to comment?
