Default How to mod an ASP pulley for a double roller timing chain?

I have a 99 corvette. I'm doing a head/cam swap in a week or so and bought an ASP ud pulley and a double roller timing chain. I've heard the us y-body guys have to trim the pulley to mate with the seal/oil pump. Does anyone know exactly what I have to do? I thought all I had to do was mill .125" off the back of the pulley. Then I heard I need to turn the collar in .125". Can someone steer me in the right direction?

You must increase the value of A (in the picture) by 3mm. If you have one of the newer ASP pullies, you may not need to machine at all.

How does the machining affect the balance of the pullie since it is internally balanced?

Thanks! That is what I needed. I assume the new pullies look like the picture. Mine does not. The narrower part of the collar is about 1/2 the width as the one in the picture. Gotta go down to the local machine shop.

Thanks man. I live in New Joisey. Too far, but there is a local shop I can use.
