I am looking around for a better H/C package for my 408. What are the best H/C for a 408. I know to get a bigger cam and some 6.0L heads but which ones?
(Current Setup)--->
6.0L iron KCM 408ci, Patriot Stage II 5.3L heads-shaved 15 thous.,TR227

Hoew much did this setup dyno?? I am in the same boat as you, I have a 408 with Absolute Speed Stage 2 heads that are choking my motor. My cam is bigger than yours, 236/242 .598/.610 114+4. Mine put down 454 rwhp and 460 rwtq on motor today and 528 rwhp and 573 rwtq on a 50 shot. I just want to see how mine compares with others that are close to mine.

My A4-built 4l60e, 3400 stall-dynoed 391 rwhp and 440 rwtq

Here's a good one with some relevent tech:

That first recommendation looks money, it'll support the cubes without excessive wear on the valvetrain.

I have a set of Katech LS6 heads in stock right now that you might want to take a look at
These things flow crazy in the mid range & do well up top also
What size chamber are you needing? Thats also a key in figuring out what head to run. Give me a call & we can see what chamber you need & we can look at all the different options.
