No problem, sounds like the salesman was in the wrong for saying that.

IMO dynos are relative.

I have locally never seen a h/c/i/pulley/full exhaust car pull better than 427rwhp but I'll have ask and see if folks have done better than that recently. Of course I did 375rwhp back in 2000 with the same stuff.

I did go 11.7...

I have started a thread so we can look at the "issues" out there. Fell free to discuss this in there...

Not that it matters but about a year and a half ago my M6 LS6 headed, Comp 232 XER cammed, full exhaust, 12 bolt 4:30, steel DS car with full belts and A/C put down 437RWHP/411RWTQ on the Speed dyno in 95 degree weather.

The point is that some cars seem to respond to mods better than others and some cars just are more weak from the factory than others. A couple of guys have dynoed over 400RWHP with a hot cam. The exceptional numbers are just that, exceptional. It's certainly not the norm, most aren't going to get 480RWHP from AFR's a 224/228 and some bolt ons.

JF your car is a good datapoint for me for sure! I am well familiar with the FLP and Speed Inc. dynos so I use them as datapoints. Whose heads do you have? Was that with a UD pulley?

John, I had at the time the old port design Absolute Speed Stage II LS6 heads. I sent them back to Jay and he's attempting to rework them to get a little more HP out of them. I'm hoping they pick up at least 10-15 over the old port, they are pretty good heads although not as good as his new stage 2/2.5 stuff.

Those #'s were with an ASP crank pulley, FLP headers/Y-pipe and through a Magnaflow exhaust. Also stock rims/tires.
