Hey. I'm in the middle of installing the cam, but unfortunately won't be done for prob. a few weeks as i only work on it on sunday afternoons. I'll let you know though when it's all done! Hopefully some others can chime in before though.

We should have some results from a '99 WS-6 M6 stock-headed car within a few days, so stay tuned.

Could I get by with 918 springs with this cam, or just get the Patriot duals?

918's are good 'till .600 lift.
You could get by no problem, but for extra peace of mind, duals are the way to go.

I run the 228/228 589'/589' 112.
I also have Patriot S2 5.3 heads and and A4 with a 3200 vig. I dynoed 365hp/446tq with my borla closed on a warm summer day. The 1/4 mile times look just like the dyno. Mph=113 ET=11.98 on Nitto's with a lousy 1.77 short time!

the torquer cam and the 231/237 are so close that there isnt a whole lot of a difference between the 2, 231/237 will have a better top end but worse lower end than the torquer, both are great cams(thats what i've gotten so far), the 231/237 will get about 8 more peak hp, but torquer will have the better daily driveability between the 2, and better bottom end, the 231/237 will trap best with 4.10 gears and almost requires em to give the best feel for gains, torquer does not necessarily need that large of gears.
