Default TSP Torquer

I haven't really heard much about this cam. I'm starting to do some research for a cam install this winter on my 98 M6 TA. I was originally thinking the TR224, but now i'm kinda thinking about going bigger. What are some experiences with this cam? Any dyno graphs? Thanks!! Jarrod

I wonder what the hold up is to see some numbers.

I tested an early version of this cam and it performed pretty good. TSP took my results and improved on it... so I'd bet that it will put down some good numbers while giving really good driving manners.

The early version I used drove ALOT better than the 231/237 and had a good bit more midrange, it was down about 5rwhp on the topend compared to the 231/237.. BUT that was a preproduction cam and there were loads of changes made before the actual "torquer" was released... so I'd imagine it is a kickass cam.

cool. i got my 231/237 for an insane amount(less then $250 new) and she'll fit the bill for what i need just right, plus i plan on sprayin this motor. so the split works well.

So nobody has any numbers from this cam? I'm wondering if it will lose much in the low end compared to like the TR224. Any thoughts on this?

I'm attaching a dyno graph of a 221/221 114 B1 cam vs the early version of the torquer cam I used. The version I used was a 232/232, the final version that is being sold is a 233/233 and should be similiar to the cam I tested, but with a little more midrange. The only change between the runs was the cams.

Thanks dude! That looked awesome. Didn't lose much and then only built more in the higher rpms. Looks like a good one!

I have a few more questions about getting a cam of this size. Would it lug the motor too much to drive in 6th at 60? I'm also curious how much more throttle it takes to get moving from a stop with stock gearing. Thanks again

You want a minimum of 3.42's.
3.73's - 4.10's would better.
