another one of these.....
Its all about personal preference. There are easily one or two dozen that run the T-Rex in their daily drivers. Thats a hell of a lot bigger then a 231/231. I'm going to be running the 231/237 hopefully in about a month. It also depends on the tune....if you get a good tune you can iron out a lot of the drivability issues. Do a search man, **** there's got to be a dozen posts with questions you just asked.

Yeah, I think so. I'm putting in the tsp torquer (233/233 .589 112lsa) in my 98 M6 TA. You'll def. need tuning though! Everybody's defintion of streetable is different, but i think that would be fine for ya.

I run a G5X2 (232/240 .595/.609 112 LSA) in my daily driver. It wasn't intended to be my dd but the ol' beater gave up and the SS had to assume dd duties. Other than the problem I have with startups, either cold or hot, it runs well. I'm sure fine tuning can take care of the startup problems though, as I got a mail order tune.

If I don't do this it will stumble and shake like a **** wanting to turn off going up and down from 400 to 1000 rpms for about 15 secs or so. Like I said, I'm sure fine tuning will take care of this, but I just haven't had the time to get to it.

From what little research I've done on "real" daily driveable cams, the 231/237 (less than .600 of lift) cam seems to be about as big as you want to go. I know others can daily drive much larger cams, but to actually drive in stop and go traffic with stock heads it seems to be the safe maximum. I could be wrong but that's what I've seen for a full bolt + cam dialy driver car.
To me though daily driving is 30min of driving to and from work in stop and go traffic. If I put a cam in it'd be my only form of transportation, so it has to be drivable year round and dependable.
