I'd be interested in knowing that too, but not sure if anyone has this setup yet.

We actually just finished a 2000 Camaro SS with PRC stage II 5.3L cylinder heads and the MS3 camshaft. The car baselined at 344 RWHP. The customer wanted a built 347 cid, so we installed the heads/cam on the new 347 cid. On the new setup, it picked up 104 RWHP, and that was with the addition of a Moser 12-bolt with 4.10:1 gears! It will pick up even more power once the new engine has a little more break-in time. We'll find out because he is going to bring it back after he's put some miles on it so we can dyno the car with the nitrous.

I'll see if I can get Jason to post the graph up in the morning.

Are the S2 heads different from the S2.5? I am asking b/c of valve size and wanting to run a set of 5.3 heads w/ the MS3 w/o flycutting. Did you flycut on that car or use different pistons?

Does the valve spring kit come with retainers?

The PRC dual valve spring kit comes complete with stock-diameter dual valve springs, titanium retainers, hardened spring seats, and new valve seals for $289.99.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

What trans is this car running? Also how much break-in is needed with a newly built setup like that?

Good luck with the CA passing, you will be lucky with a 114. Let alone a cam over 600 on lift and and duration.

i just think that the ms3 would have a better throttle response if it was tuned. the .231/.237 has a pretty quick throttle response. it revs up pretty quick. am i making sense?

I had a customer call me this morning that has a stock-headed six-speed f-body with our MS3 camshaft. He dynoed 414 RWHP, but I do not know if that was with a stock tune or fully tuned in. We are dyno-tuning a 2000 Z28 six-speed as I type this that baselined 339 RWHP through the duals. The first pull just netted a 69 RWHP gain with 408 RWHP! Jason is still tuning on it, so I'll post up the final numbers once we're done. I'll also be sure that Jason posts the overlay to show the before and after curves. It's pretty sick for just a cam swap!

Pull 2: After adding some fuel from being too lean on the first pull, the car is up to 418 RWHP for a 79 RWHP gain!

Pull 3: The third pull just netted 422 RWHP and 393 RWTQ for an 83 RWHP gain! Just wait until the customer installs AFR 205's in the next month or so!

Pull 4: Jason just uploaded the final tune in the car, and it put down 427.0 RWHP and 394.7 RWTQ! This is all through a true duals system.
