Retainer or valve stem out of spec...

Oversized stems will load the lock incorrectly and split them...

Improperly machined taper in the retainers will also cause a failure...

See this mismatch a lot with imported parts that people bring in...

There is a big difference between an imported set of $60 titanium retainers and a set machined in the USA that'll run you $160!!! You choose...

No, we believe the lock was not at fault, it was something else putting uneven pressure on the lock.

yea, i was having the problem of the spring not compressing even......

called PP and they are sending me 4 locks for free! i'll be going back to them for heads and whatnot!!!
