Also, I understand what you guys are saying about the upper RPM power of the X-er lobes. They make great midrange, but I have yet to see a huge upper end and peak number by one of those cams.

just cant control the valves at high rpm. Im pretty sure the .006 duration on Jason99ta cam hes turning 7400 with is more then 286 degrees (which would roughly be where an XE-R lobe is at 236 dur.)
Im looking to see how a particular set of lobes will cross over, should be easier openign closign but same middle as XE-R.

Your valve events are interesting especially EVO.
One thing we NEED to know is your intake port volume in cc's. I think a 242/242 on 108/108 would work a little better on your setup depending on port volume and head flow through the intake

I'm shooting for around 10* of overlap, due to the idle requirement.
Also, Chris, I listed the intake and exhaust runner volume of my heads in my third or so post.
Runner volume on the heads are about 217cc intake and 80cc exhaust.
