4600 stall with slicks- VERY agressive setup there, i think that is how he is pulling 11's with 315whp

Justin hasnt dynoed the car since the cam but I'm sure he will soon. I know he has had some problems with his spark plug wires. One got burned on the header. That is what through off his last dyno.

Dynoed today, but it wasnt worth much. Clutch decided to give out on the dyno. Everything looks great, just low numbers. Hoping to get the clutch swapped out and re-dyno before November, so stay tuned

For all interested, Jason99T/A mocked up my motor on a stock shortblock to check PTV clearance tonight. Exhaust was .145 and intake was .006 These are Absolute Speed Stage II 5.3's unmilled with 2.055/1.57 valves and the Ron Jeremy. I was told that my exhaust valve was sunk deeper because the previous owner used the heads on a TREX. So we'll be doing some flycutting on the intake side, probably .060 to .070. Jason and I have the install planned for next weekend, we will have some dyno numbers then.

Thanks for the update Blake. Do you think if the heads were new that flycutting would not be needed?

Are you asking if they'd fit on a stock 5.3l head? It's hard to say, I know a big factor in my PTV is the large valves. The only way to really tell is to mock the motor up and check PTV, and I don't think anyone has tried it yet.
