ok ive gotten down to the cam....so im tryin the jpr tool method but with the 5/16 wooden dowels ok...... so i stick them in and i put a push rod in the push rod whole and spud the cam but the push rods still movin up and down way is this i thought it shouldnt move now since them sticks are in there help me please!!!!!

 

are the rods far enough in? they should go in about 18". make sure to spin the cam while you slide the rods in, itll make sure they can slide under the lifters. it may take some effort. good luck

the stick just goes in wit out turnin? and on the first lifter u can reach in the little hole above the cam and feel it touchin the cam still what bout that?
