Shouldn't the dealer warranty that kind of serious engine failure? I mean, come on! Doesn't GM stand by their products!!! WARRANTY LAWSUIT!!! LOL
Seriously, I'm sorry that happened to you. It's so much easier being the guy looking at the pictures than the person who needs to figure out their next step. Good luck, man!!

Blown engine = Stroker Motor...
Definatly some of the worst ls1 destruction Ive seen...Sorry that happened to ya, but that just means you have the chance to start over and you can go with any setup granted you got the dinero. Unless you can cut the ls1 in half and make it an I4...could be interesting
Good luck with your next step

Take the block in and recycle it. Mine looked pretty damn close to yours when it blew 2 years back. I saved the oil pan and front and rear covers. Everything else was replaced. Now I have a 422ci.

yeah it blew to pieces there nothin i could save i'll take pic of the starter next , when the rod came through the block it shot threw the starter, nothin it was resusable, not even theheads and i question the cam even too, i wish i could have saved the oil pan, those r expensive too, so i dont know what i'm going to do b/c i dont have any money, but will see i've been carless for awhile, i'm tryin to get something to through in there so i cant start driving again
