I am mixed on their heads. I have 4 friends running PP heads. 3 of the 4 have had great luck but the guy that is in a world of hurt is realy in a world of hurt. Broken vavle then a trashed motor. Heads had less than 400miles on them when it happend.
I feel it is a crap shoot. Some times you roll snake eyes and boom there goes your motor with your new heads.

patriot heads
Why don't we turn this around an not ask why patriots are so cheap, but why all the others cost more. I know for what we do and buy for our heads, there are no upgrades needed, everything is a stage three, all heads are pressure tested, fully deburred and all heads are hand blended, inspected and documented, not one failure in four years, knock on wood. When parts are mass produced cheaply, there are a lot of things overlooked. We may not sell as much volume as patriot. I'll take the no comeback approach, I like not having a customer support dept. or claims dept.

what are you talkin about gollum? they dropped prices b/c they weren't moving any heads. they made some modifications to the design to ensure consistant QC and performance(according to Gunnar). they're trying to re-create a name for themselves after all that drama went on with those failures that resulted in a few lost motors(which is most unfortunate).

yes they are, before the 231/237 he gained 45rwhp with the PP's over his old cam only setup. though i'd of expected more with the tsp231, his old cam was a 218/222 or some **** like that. IIRC PP's w/ old cam was 403rwhp.
