After TR230 Cam install questions? And Results. Long I had the TR230 installed saturday with TR rods, comp 918's and Ti Retainers. The car started and idled perfect after the install, never once died. Well the next day, Sunday, it threw a code when i started it cold. O2 Sensor code and Misfire code, untunned 110.2 LSA will cause that i guess. Any way i reset the computer today and it runs like ****. Takes forever to find idle and dies often. I should have left it alone. It almost sounds like its backfiring at idle and smells like gas and smoke when it first starts and tries to find idle. Do you think it will clear up with some more miles? All in all the car is running very strong besides idle. Im still stuck with the 6200 limiter so im shifting while its still pulling. I cant wait for tunning. Im think about gettin before and after track times and dyno numbers with the stock tunning/limiter Thumbs of for TR. Love this cam.

Re: After TR230 Cam install questions? And Results. Long While it won't help as much as tuning, drilling out the hole in the TB blade will help the idle issue a good bit.

Re: After TR230 Cam install questions? And Results. Long Im going to tune it but its going to be early may. It was doing great before the computer, almost to good to be true. Im hoping it will learn a little more untill may. Up top, even at only 6200, it is running like a different car. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
