LOL give me half.

You are both right. In some 02 f-bodys you get an ls6 block not the heads or the cam but you do get the intake.

I you want some ls6 heads let me know i have a pair for sale.

Its an LS1 with the ls6 intake but some 02s had ls6 blocks.
The heads are LS1 castings not ls6.

Default PLEASE HELP!!! LS1 or LS6?

Hey everybody, i had a question, i have a buddy with a 2002 Camaro Z28 which is the ls6 right? well ne ways my friend taylor said that a 2002 camaro is a ls1 and not a ls6, so i went over to another buddy of mines 2000 camaro z28 and showed him he had EGR which a 02 doesnt have, which distincts the ls6 intake....so what my point is....Is a 2002 z28 a ls6 or a ls1....Please reply there is a 50 dollar bet on this.

ok i gotcha, well today im going up to bankston chevrolet to put a end to all this....see his bet was that its a ls1 in a 02 camaro...so what would u call the motor in it, i know you can call it a ls1 but its not because of the intake....and maybe the block...how could i find out if it had a ls6 block?...what casting number would i be looking for? And who won this bet? Me saying its a ls6 or him saying its a ls1....???

The order in this post is funny for me as well.

If the car has an LS6 block in it I guess you could say it's an LS-3.5
