Default I just ordered my TSP 231/237 112!

I've owned the Corvette for a year now and haven't done anything to it. I'm almost ashamed of myself. I've been looking at parts the whole time and now I think it's time to start buying. I couldn't pass up that special right now. Next I'll be adding the LS2 intake and 90mm TB, Stage II heads, LGM's, and a stall. I'm hoping to have it all in by March or April.

Cool! What kind of Vette do you have? I see it's a C5. Coupe, FRC, Vert, or Z? Either way, that thing will get up and go after those mods. Vettes take very little to be quick b/c they are nice and light. I'll have a Vette one day.....

BTW, I have the same cam, you'll love it!

I've got a coupe, sometimes wish it was an FRC. Have you dynoed your car or ran it at the track? I read that the drivability with this cam isn't bad at all, how do you like yours? Of course mine will be a little worse considering I have an A4, but oh well.

That's a pretty radical cam change, I see you're not screwing around .
Probably going to need some good tuning to keep similar manners over stock.

I'm thinking about a 3800 if I run 3.73's. I want to run more gear than stall, so I might dip as low as 3500 and run 3.90's. That's still a little ways off so I'll see when I get there.

Trying to do it right the first time. I see a lot of guys buying cams, then switching. I don't have the funds for that. I can't wait to see how the car reacts. I don't mind it losing a few manners, just enough to let me know that the cam is there and ready.

I would buy the LSX 90mm intake when you do it. Nice cam and a good set of heads you will be kicking ***. Vettes are light and run sweet!! Good luck!

Without a ported TB and pulley I dynoed 377rwhp. Kinda lower than I expected, but the thing pulls like a beast. I've raced a friend's SS with headers and Loudmouth and it's pretty brutal, not even close. I haven't taken it to the track yet though. I just want to make sure I can keep my rear in one piece for a while.

Even though I have a stock-geard six speed, the drivability is fine with me. I've let two friends drive it for the first time and they didn't really have any problems with stalling. In fact they didn't stall at all. It does take getting used to with an M6 but with a tune and a stall for your car, it should drive pretty much like stock.

I drove the 231/237 on stock heads for 6 months (even using Comp 918's). The car ran great... 12.1 @ 118mph, and drove fine around town.

I'm already on the list for an LS2 intake and I'm going to run a TPIS or GM 90mm TB.

Default Costing a cam job

I've seen a ton of people posting and talking about new cams--I've been looking into them for this spring. What is the typical install cost for a cam, and what types of shop generally do them? Thanks for the patience, I'm new to this stuff->

PS: I've been trying to find out what exactly a WS-9 packaged TA is, any help?
