Help with Catch Can Install on LS6
I'm trying to install the in line catch can on my 02 Z06 [LS6 PCV system]. The only pictures I can find are of an install on an LS1 which looks to have a different routing of hoses.
On my car there are really only two hoses; one going from the passenger valve cover to the throttle body and one small curved line with what I think is the PCV valve in the middle going from the intake into the engine under the intake.
What hose goes to the top of the can and what goes to the side of the can. Any pictures of an installation on an LS6 or detailed instructions [which should be simple] are appreciated. Thanks.

You need to make 2 hoses with the hose provided with the kit. One of these hoses will go from the passenger valve cover to the fitting on the side of the catch can. The other hose connects the throttle body to the fitting on the top of the catch can. You are in effect putting the catch can "in-line" between the valve cover and the throttle body, replacing the factory line directly from the valve cover to the throttle body. Hope this makes more sense to you.
Now I understand what you were asking in the 'other' post you have about this:

Did Samba242 explain it enough?

For the LS6 PCV setup, you would run one hose from the PCV valve (which connects to the port from the valley cover under the intake) to the top of the can. The other hose runs from the side of the can to the port on the neck of the intake behind the throttlebody.
