Default whats the difference?

between a 226 226 581 112 and a 226 226 581 112 XER?
I have the first cam waiting to install and was wondering how different my numbers will be. Thanks in advance.

It's the same cam. XE-R is just a lobe design. 226/581 is a comp XE-R lobe. Wherever you saw the cams listed, someone just didn't specify "XE-R" in the profile.

I have the 226 cam, bought it used so I'm pretty sure it was before the XER lobes came out. Guess I will find out

Sorry for the confusion and for bringing a thread up from the dead. Looked at the cam card and i was wrong on the lift numbers. it's 226/226 584/584 112. I'd like to know exactly what it is bc i bought it used. I think the best way to find out might be to call Comp. What do you guys think?

Sound good to me you just need to give them the serial # on the cam and they'll be able to tell you...Zed
