75k miles on mine. I bought late in the summer and am finishing up college this year. I don't want to step on anyone's toes, but take the advice about not modding in college with a grain of salt. If you have a part time job and little expenses, enjoy modding your car. You have more time now than you probably will with a job right out of college. I saved up and bought mine with cash so I don't owe anything on it. Take it slow with modding and try to have a little money cushion for any needed repairs.

50k miles on my WS6. yeah i second that one, i have 3 more semesters left in college. car was paid off after a year and a half and it was still fairly new when i got it. just slowly did all the bolt ons and now im gonna do heads and cam and workin on a few other things. just dont do anything that will leave you without a car. always have some kinda back up plan. when my stock clutch broke i was able to use my parents cars for a week until i was able to get the parts and put the new one in. and i also had cash saved up too. everyone tells me to do it now while i can and i can enjoy it. sooner or later ill be gettin a house and getting married, thats when my dads fun stopped so im gonna take advantage of my situation right now lol

I have 93k on my 98 C5 and have had very little problems. Cam was installed with 86k at the beginning of summer. No problems with it. The only thing was an alternator and belt tensioner. I need a new clutch this will be the cars 3rd. All and all Im very happy with how well this engine has been. If you ask me your car is just asking for a cam and new gears. These Ls1's run forever and run very clean. Go for it.

57,000 thousand miles and has gone through many changes. I say have fun in college and if you want to mod the car and have the money to do so do it. I have been modding my car since highschool and I cant stop, I am a broke college student but my car is fun to drive.

I have a 1999 5.3 GMC Sierra 165k and nothing wrong yet. My dad put 149k of those miles on it and he treated it good. I am hoping to go to 200 before anything goes wrong. He had an 88 GMC before this one and it now has 315k on it original engine.

Almost 21K miles. Tore into the sucker and installed an 02 LS6 cam at 4K miles. Longtubes @ all the other bolt ons soon after. That wasn't enough and at 12K took out the LS6 cam and put in the current TR224. Jammed the shift linkage in the T56 a few weeks back so while my father and I were rebuilding it we also put in a new LS6 clutch.

Mine's a 98 with 37K on it. I still have the factory washer fluid in it and factory battery. Just some small issues. But that's been about it.
