Well for motors running pure race gas or metanol mix, for extreeme race only boosted/N20 set ups, why not. I just do not see it for street applications N/A applications unless you are running over 12.5 CR. But I'm sure someone is doing it.

Unless you are running a rediculous shot the TR6s should be fine. How much do you plan on running?

I have a 98 Z with a 410 cubic inch motor, 11.85 to 1 compression and I sprayed a 200 shot.
The first time I sprayed the motor I fouled up one of the TR6's.
I also have a 98 TA that I have been spraying for over 4 years.
It was a stock bottom end with heads and cam.
I never sprayed less then 150 in the TA and sprayed up to a 200 and never had the problem with that car even when the damn thing was untuned.
I plan on spraying a heavier shot of juice but nothing more then 250 with 2 or 3 stages. For now its just a single stage. I didn't spray until 3rd gear.
I am thinking maybe I just had a bad plug as they were gaped correctly, and when I called NGK they said I should run the TR8's. The customer service guy said many people are switching to them
No one on this board appearently.

BTW I have read many of this guys post and he is defentially not a ricer.

I've run up to 200 dry on TR6's on a 10:1 motor with 98 octane premium but after 2>3 runs you could see some melting occurring.

Haha look whos posting one post right after another (#8, #9) and you say im the post *****? I just have nothing else to do at work
A TR6s are good up until about 250 shot so you should be fine with that 200.

Any NGK plug ending in IX is Iridium.
I have sprayed (around) 225 wet on a TR6 .I would suggest being VERY careful at that level though as you're getting close to the limit of reasonable use w/that plug in my opinion.

What about the TR7IX iridium. Would those be comparable to the standard TR6's in regards to heat range? Would it be a better all around plug for 11.1+ CR, 450+ RWHP and an occassional 200+ shot? Would there be any better iridium alternatives?

For some reason copper has been a favorite amongst us juice user, not that I'm putting down iridium, i just do not know enough poeple that say good things about iridium and N20.

So what other plugs are being used?
Everyone I have ever known runs the TR6's but I dont know anyone that sprays more thena 200 shot.
I drive the car on motor a couple times a week so I need a plug that will work for normal driving but beable to handle a good shot of juice and higher compression. I am sure the TR7ix is colder but is it a good choice?
Again I spoke with NGK but would like to know what other's on this board are using.

Most people dont run Iridium plugs becasue 1.) the price and 2.) the first few WOT and the coating comes off.

Well I understand where hes comming from. People ask advice and then when you give them an answer they start being a little #*$#. After a 'few' post...it gets old.

If you're spraying a big shot like that, and want a plug that won't melt on you and / or cause preignition, look into a Champion S57C or S59C. They're a very cold non extended tip plug, and work great in a high compression or big N2O motor. I ran them with great success in my '98. They won't last near as long as a more traditional plug, but you wouldn't really expect that either...
