Default Custom Grind with High LSA??

I am looking for a cam for my 04 GTO MN6.

This thing is HEAVY. I need a strong torque bump across the RPM range with a nice pull on the top end. Since the car has the Z06 ratios w/ a 3.46 rear gear, it likes to rev.

I was thinking about the TSP 233/233 Torquer, as it appears to satisfy both goals. My only concern is driveability. This is also my DD and I sometimes creep in traffic for an hour at a time. I don't want to deal with surging or stalling.

What would happen if I had the 233/233 custom ground on a 115 or 116 LSA?

With tuning you wont have the surging or stalling problems.

Any input on a higher LSA, but still agressive profile cam?

i would think that you would have a better idle with a wider powerband but would lose some peak power and at the mid range as well,as opposed to the 112lsa.i'm not a cam expert but it's my best guess.

the higher LSA will move ur powerband up, which u don't want in a heavy car... i would think u would want something more like a 224/114, or maybe MTI's G1...

or how about a tr220 -114lsa or something similar?that should give you a nice bump over the rpm range and have a nice idle.
