Does anyone have dyno graphs of the Y1? Any sound clips? I'm trying to choose between the Y1, G5X3, and TSP 233/239 for my road racing car...

thanks
Ben

I'm sold on the Y1, definetly will get it once I get back from Japan. Any #'s on how much this cam will make on stock heads? Pretty much stock car for that matter.

I think this cam is installed by shoving it up your tailpipe.

Wow, looks like nice numbers.

Just to add some info about how the car drives with the cam... I had a C2 cam only motor before this. It made nice power and was very drivable. The larger Y1 cam drives better in the 383 than the C2 did in the 347. I drive this car a lot and it would make a great daily driver if I wanted to drive it that way. It has great low end tq and it really screams above 3500 rpm. I spin the motor to 6800 and it pulls hard all the way to redline. I suck at drag racing and I managed a 11.95 @ 125 on street tires granny shifting with a stop light launch. This setup is good for 10's with some tires and a little more aggressive shifting. On the highway it still gets 28 mpg cruising and 18 in the city. All in all I'm very happy with the performance of this setup.

Sounds just like the way my new cam performs:
TSP 235/240 .602/.598 112+2
Similar specs also; my cam is for stock un-milled heads as well. I'm amazed at the low and midrange power I get with a cam this big.

Not being a cam expert, can someone tell me why you think they choose a 113 separation? Will this help with torque in midrange?

David, I've been thinking about upgrading from the T1. Looks like I need to come and talk to you about the Y1. I have a M6 with stock heads. Actually been thinking about heads also

Is this a CAM you would recommend for a zo6 with a 125 wet shot.
Cam only with stock ls6 heads. Do plan to do some 205-215 heads later.
