mike's02ls1, sorry I couldnt fit enough in the topic start to specify low 11 sec. cars/high 10 sec. cars, but hitting high 11s can be accomplished with stock internals. So were looking for the low 11/high 10 sec. cars.

Not me but a local ran a 11.47 in a A4 with a 224/228
75 mile per day driver car with a ET street 342 gear and a Yank 3800 stall. Also had all the bolton's with Jet hot headers full exhaust and a cutout.
Made 388 after the tune with a ported TB and LS6 intake.
1.6x 60ft on stock suspension, and 119 trap speed
Damn impressive for Fl heat and a daily driver.

Nope, just sick and tired of people jumping in on threads who don't have something constructive to say. That's all.

I guess I don't come on the board but about once every two weeks or so. I hear ya about the repetitive stuff but good Lord there are a bunch of members on here now. It wasn't directed to you, some people just love to add to their post count, which is obvious, where some of us read quite a bit.

1999TA, what's up man. Jeff is a good guy. Mine needs to go back this week for tuning.
BlackbeaSSt, didn't mean to hijack or anything. I run the 224/228 581 112+2 XER and have run 118.49 full weight t top car 6 speed on a bogging 1.89 60.

Jeff, thanks. I really appreciate your efforts as well. I hope we dont get to the point that were at each others throats again. I started this thread not only to consolidate, but to end this mess. I know posting yet another thread may have upsetted people, but I figured it was worth settling it for once. I know a lot of people are out there looking for the ultimate drag cam for stock heads and want to run the numbers. If enough info is posted in this thread, it will be a great source to go by. Hopefully as time goes on, I will have a full list of great off the shelf cams out there that you can choose from.

To those who are getting off topic, please...lets be adults here and enjoy the wonderful privilage of using this site. Cant we just get along?

BlackBeaSSt, I think you should try perusing through the dyno section and the drag racing section, try PM'ing the folks running the numbers and tryin to get their input in this thread. I applaud you for trying to get everything consolidated in one thread, it'll be a bitch to get it ALL together. Good luck

not to rant...but somethings do get out dated because technology is growing so fast! i think some times it is better to ask again...now i can understand not wanting to read something 100 times but the solution to that is dont read it and you dont have to post a reply. i'm just glad there are people as eager as me about learning about these LSX motors!

I'm with you!! I think sometimes half of people's post counts here are complaints and suggestions to use the search button....

Every 2 months there is a new "biggest" cam out, and if somebody wants to ask every 2 days, that is their right!! All the people coming in here and complaining about it are doing nothing but bringing the thread to the top of the board again and again...

I was thinking of putting this cam on this list, but I havent ran into anyone on the board that has seen low 11s/high 10s with this cam. Thats what Im looking for to make up the list. If youve seen the numbers, then I'll put it on their as well.

I think you need to also take into account DA for your list. Just a thought. Good luck on your list, I wish I had a 10/11 sec pass to add!

So...those that have run low 11s and even 10s, please post...

cam specs (manufacturer, duration, lift, LSA, etc.)
HP peak
Dyno graph (if available)
tranny
converter or clutch
rear end gear ratio
shift points
shift extension for autos.
race weight
times (60 ft., 1/8th mile, 1/4 mile)
stock bottom end or list upgrades

Thanks in advance to all who participates in this thread. Im sure it will help out a lot of people, including myself. I know there are a lot of cams out there, but I want to narrow the cams down that push stock headed, naturally aspirated F-bodies into the low 11s/high 10s. I also wanted everyone to include the rest of their setup so that we know what works well with particular setups.

Cam list:

1. LG Motorsports G5X-4 (Juggernaut) XXX/XXX .XXX/.XXX XXX LSA
2. Thunder Racing T-Rex v.2 242/248 .608/.612 110 LSA
3. LG Motorsports G5X-3 XXX/XXX .XXX/.XXX XXX LSA
4. LG Motorsports G5X-2 XXX/XXX .XXX/.XXX XXX LSA

I dont have any of those cams, I have a lil 226/226 57?/59? 112lsa
I went 11.57 @119.5 with -1200da at roughly 3650 plus shifting at 6700rpm
bolt on's include ls6 intake, crank pulley, jet hot long tubes w/cutout, stock tranny, spohn torque arm/lca's, mcleod single disk clutch
I dyno-ed 386 with a 12 bolt and 4:30's
