Default BIG PROPS TO Trevor at Texas speed!

he recomended the new tq'er cam for my car 233/233...
I called and emailed many sponsors from this board in the last week, now im not gonna call anyone out, but some of the phone convo's with other sponsors lasted all of 30 seconds! Im trying to explain to them what i want to do with the car and get a recommendation and they say 10 words and BYE! Trevor from tsp was the only one who talked to me for more then 1 minute! infact he set there with me and went thru about 50 different things in detail for 10 minutes! Also the only one who ask me how i was doing today, or said have a nice day when he hung up!

I know this has nothing to do with hp or tq numbers... but someone who is willing to take 10 minutes instead of 1 minute is prolly going to spend more time designing/testing there cams as well IMO! Now rather i order that 233/233 or the 228/228 or wait until i get a bigger stall and get a bigger cam, the cam will come from them! i dont know much as u can tell from my other post in here but i feel comfortable that they understand my intentions for the car!

SO TO CAM NEWBS LIKE MYSELF
give em a call... worth a shot and u prolly wont be hung up on when u ask a stupid question!

i agree with you redrocket same thing happend to me a year ago when i was shopping for heads and cam. i called every one and got blew off i guess cause they thought i was wasting there time.

Then i called TSP and jason answered the phone with like 5 mins from then closeing. and i talked and asked all kinds of?'s and he stayed on the phone with me for about 45min after it was time for him to go home. so they sold me right there. a month later and alot more phone calls to Jason i placed me big order from them and have been happy since. and i still contue to bye from them and bug the hell out of Jason.

yeap have heard nothing but good things... i just ordered long tubes and dont wanna wait for the cam.. was gonna go ahead and get the cam and install kit today, but woudn't be able to afford the rest of the deal for about 1-2 weeks.. ill prolly just wait and get it all at once from them tho.. he said the prc springs work great with the tq'er but i may just give him a call back in 2 weeks and see about running some heads as well who knows! also prolly have to upgrade my stall from 3000-3500 and wanting to put the 373 n before the cam.. but when i am ready its coming from them!

I've done all of my modding with TSP, and consider myself lucky that I live about 10 miles away from them. They have always provided excellent customer service to their clients, I couldn't be happier with them. I have hung out up there and watched them handle their business; they are professional and down to earth, they love what they do, and the idea that customer satisfaction is more important than how much money they can make off of you is what sets them apart.

TSP is by far the best out there to deal with and I would recommend them to anyone.

I baught a 85mm lid from them about a year ago, and i got treated very well too. Very pleasant to deal with. Does not matter if you buy a $2.00 part or $2000.00 in parts. very kind and I will buy from them in future also.

Got my lid from them and it was top-notch. Great fit and easy install. Ordered my torque converter from them - great price - and the next thing I knew, it was at my doorstep. I will do my business with them unless they don't carry a product I want.

I have noticed that Trevor is the one of the few people who doesn't have the attitude " if this call is not to buy something right now then your wasting my time ". I asked him about 3 or 4 different cams as well as what we would do about tuning and he was helpful and patient. I was not ready to buy a cam at that moment but I was merely mapping out where I wanted to go.
