I was trying to decide between the FM11 and FM13 both on a 112. I don't want to start a whole new thread.

I have read alot on both. Is it true that they will idle the same?, if I so, I'll just get the FM13. I don't want a idle too choppy.

Im ordering today so help me choose! My car is a M6. I have LTs with stock 3.42's for now.

Yes, your idle will be the same. Don't let driveability be any factor in your decision between those 2 cams, they both drive identically.

I love the chop. Wish I had more of it. Right now car is sitting in my driveway under a snow cocoon but it is on a stock tune and drivability is great. Needs a tune for idle and to max out the power but everything else is good. Should have wen't with bigger, like FM14, but there are not alot of results on that, hence this thread.

I would just go with the F13. That's what I'm going with most likely. The results for the bigger cams is mixed. I haven't seen ONE bad comment yet on the F13. It just seems like it matches up well and has a great performance/drivability. Now, as to what LSA and ICL to put it on, I have no clue.

FM14 is a new cam.. and as with all new cams people are afraid to try.

So far every post of the fm14 cam it has performed as well as the 13, and as more cars get it I suspect it will out perform it. Results from mine soon.

I think he has a 114+0 F13.

But it's not just his cam. He has some really good heads too.

I ran 11.59@ 120 in a 3726lb car on Nittos drags leaving at 4000 rpms pulling a 1.69 60 ft on that pass. the 1/8 th mile time was 7.48 @ 93.9
The pass before that ,I ran a 7.36 1/8th mile time at 94.5 mph with a 1.64 60 ft but only ran 11.62 @ 117.01 mph as I bounced the rev limiter on the 3rd to 4th shift because my shift light decided not to work. This would have been around a 11.45@ 121 judging the 1/8th mile times.

I can see my car running 11.3's on the et streets and skinnies with 3650rw (weight loss by changing tires)

Im convinced on getting the FM13. YsoFast, if yours was a 112, I'd be all over it.

Im ordering today. Lets see, I need Comp918's and 7.400 hardened PRs. Im going to reuse my stock retainers since I only have 15k miles on the car, I think it'll be ok, right?

Anything else I need to know before I place the order?

Thanks

FYI... My cars a M6 with stock gears and LT's.

Oh well! I guess you want the rougher idle with the 112. The +4 on this cam puts the TQ back down a bit and would make for one hell of a street cam. That is the main reason I got it plus my heads are shaved down a bit.

Can you guys post up your F13 dyno graph and tell us what are the spec on your cam (112 or 114 and straight up,+2 or, +4) so we can see the difference peak and under curve HP/TQ
