getting a cam
I decided to go with a 231/237 from TSP and the precision race kit. If anyone would like to add anything or sugest anything, please give me your opinion. Want to make this cam count. And also, is a new chain really needed with this?

If your car is not an 01-02 I'd go ahead with the oil pump. Also you can get a roller chain that will work with the stock cam gears. That is what is what I did and it's not near the pain to change. Work just as well. I believe it is a Jwis or Cloyes my memory fails me sometimes.

Ya, i dont think my miles are too low with 72k on the clock. So an oil pump would be a great investment from what i hear from everyone. I will search for the price on that, have not really looked into oil pumps.
I plan on changing out my stock cam this spring, w/new springs, rods, and retainers. Will mostly change out the timing chain w/JWIS since 40K miles on my 2002 Hawk.
Oil pump, IMO is too much added expense, but the chain $130 - $150 may well be worth the investment.
