ARP Main Stud question

ARP Main Stud question Is it true that when you install ARP main studs in the block that you will require an align hone? How can these studs throw off the clearances? Is there anything else i should know about installing any type of studs in the motor?
There are threads about rod bolts throwing the caps out of round, it is true that it can throw it out of line, far enough to require machine work though I don't know.
This is also the reason I have not installed a main girdle, because I don't know if it will throw it out of line enough to matter.

i am getting prices for anywhere from $175-$275 just for an align hone. i am not going to cheap out if needs it, but now im looking at $151 for main studs, and $175-$275 for an align hone. damn! just to spin it up to 7000rpms.
