I gained 45 rwhp with just adding Patriot 5.3's. I then added the TSP 231/237 cam for a gain of 55 rwhp total. I had a 218/222 cam before the TSP.

My roomate did 437 with Patriot LS6 Stage 2's. Assuming the F11 is a 405-410 rwhp cam, you can pull a 25-35rwhp gain out of that.

I was running the TSP-231/237 (cam only)..made 378 RWHP-355 pounds ft. torque. I now have Patriot stage II 5.3s and a FM 13 cam. I'm making 426 RWHP- 410 pounds ft. torque. Lots of torque down low!!

Mike.. I'm researching heads right now and keep coming across your post of when you first got the heads. 45 RWHP Congrats!! Hope I can come close to that.

Do you feel the loss of drivability going to your 231/237 from the 218/222 was worth it? Maybe the before and after dyno graphs show the whole story.I'm trying to decide whether to go bigger than my B1 or not when doing the heads.

Thanks for the compliment! When I switched to the 231/237, I lost no driveabilty whatsoever. I had TSP do a mail order tune. That's the key for making the car have good street manners. It's a must IMO. Keep in mind my car is a 6 speed, and I have 4.10 gears. This makes a difference. If you have a A4 with 3.23's, your going to have problems with drivability unless you have a big convertor in there. If you have a 6 speed I say go for the 231/237 cam or another similar sized cams that's out there. Good luck!!

not to hijack but would there be a noticable diff with these heads by switching from the TR 224,224 to the above cam, is worth it or is that to little a jump to do.

I would say keep the TR224. You're not going to notice much at all. Maybe 5 rwhp gain at peak. Not worth the hassle IMO.

Before Patriot Stage 2 6.0 liters and MTI C2 cam made 338hp/355tq with all the bolt ons. With the heads/cam, no cats and x-pipe making 420hp/400tq with a VERY conservative tune.

Thanks Jermai, your the man!! Thanks for posting it back up. You beat me to it. To this day I'm still impressed on the way my car pulls. Especially now with the 231/237. It pulls like a frieght train.
