Default valve spring swap

I'm wanting to change my springs in order to help me turn the car a little harder and also some protection from missing gears while power shifting. I have missed 2nd a couple of times and floated the valves( I assume ). When this happened the car died and I had to wait a few minutes before it would crank again. The car seems to run fine now and no noise. The rev limiter is set at 6400, the car has stock internals LT's and a Procharger.I've got a set of Manley springs and I'm wanting to know if there's any thing I need to know apon installing them, such as do they need shimming or anything like that. The car still has the stock cam in it but I will be going with tr 224/227 563/569-114 cam in a couple of months. Are they a direct swap?
