Default identify LS1 Valve Spring w Red Stripe

I bought some new assembled LS6 heads with these valve springs. They are raw metal with a Maroon/Red Painted stripe.

Any ideas?

They are most likely a crane cams valve spring.I have used them in conjunction with the crane cams truck series cams..They are rated for a max lift of .540". If you could snap a pic it would help too though.

Cool well it's not the crane truck springs judging by the picture...Do you know anyone with a spring pressure tester? That could solve the mystery easily as far as how much camshaft you can run...but as far as brand goes..they do look like cranes..just not the truck series springs.

Thanks guys, I tried to go get em checked on Friday, but most places were closed. I'll try again nxt week.

Anyone who has seen these, please speak up.

I bought some excellent Brand New LS6 casting (supposedly 04 Complete heads), but they had the wrong valves and these wierd springs.

Thanks for the help.
