Do 04 C5's have a PCV valve?

Do 04 C5's have a PCV valve? I was looking at my dad's C5 vette and seen that( from what I beleve) he has no PCV valve? There was just what I beleved to be an LS6 valley cover connected to a hose going into the intake, Is the PCV valve internal? I was wondering if I could delete this valve from my PCV system with out any problems?
