Can i pick up some good power with an aftermarket cam on a stock motor, LT's, and full exhaust? Does anyone have any dyno #'s for before and after cam installs on a stock motor? thanks

Yes, you can pick up A LOT of power with an aftermarket cam on stock cubes. Your LT's and exhaust will help the cam out too.
The dyno section has some good graphs for stock cars w/ cams.

Thanks guys. So what cam for my 02 SS A4....has stock gears, and needs great streetability? I dont want a cam that is sluggish until 6,000 RPMs, then pulls to 9,000. I want something that doesnt sacrifice a whole lot down low and makes a good power increase from 3,500-6,300 or so! Im not going to be reving the crap out of this thing. Any suggestions? (LT's and y-pipe coming also) Thanks

I would suggest doing a search, you will find there are several cams that could work for you.
My suggestion would be the TR224, it's not so big that it will kill your valve springs, and it makes a nice bit of torque down low, and some nice hp up top. Do a search in the dyno section for this cam, you will see it is a very nice all around cam.

This is where somebody comes in and tells you to SEARCH. I gurantee you that 154654 people have asked your exact question. The first thing you need to know is that you need to get a converter before you get a cam. Good all around bread and butter cam is the previously mentioned single pattern 224. Get a converter and research a cam heavily in the meantime.
PS: Get a 3000-3500 stall converter.....or higher. Don't pu**y foot around with it.

Yes, converter 1st then a cam. You'll need tuning. TR224 is the benchmark, but you can move upwards and get a bigger cam with tuning.
TSP 228R, 233/233 or 233/239 are all great cams.
FM 11 or 13 also.
Have fun picking one. Do your research. Ask the sales people for help/advice.
